Special Needs
The 1993 Education Act resulted in the Secretary of State issuing a Code of Practice giving practical guidance on how to identify and assess Special Educational Needs. All schools must have regard to this code when planning to meet the needs of children. Mrs Harlow is the teacher responsible for co-ordination of Special Educational Needs.
